This week was an interesting one. I connected my handle to my teapot and everything fit but then my lid accidentally got broken. Since then I have made two more lids which have both been unsuccessful. Friday I made yet another lid and hopefully it fits my teapot this time.

This week I glazed two of my theme projects. They turned out amazing and I got so many compliments on them it was crazy. I'm excited to splatter more of my projects. I also tried attatching my teapot but things got too dry so now I have to make a new spout and handle but that shouldn't take long. Ill be glad when my teapot is finally done next week.

This week I concentrated on making my Mother's Day gift and it turned out pretty well. Two of my projects came out of the kiln on Friday as well, a bowl and a plate. I'm planning on giving these projects to friends and I'm excited to see how they turn out when I glaze them next week

This week I made a variety of projects. When I stayed after school I made two plates one of which was made out of porcelain and a cereal bowl. The projects all turned out really well and I'm am excited for all of them to come out. I'm probably going to end up using one of the plates for Mother's Day.

This week we learned how to make a new type of lid. I've been trying constantly to make it but the clay has been hard to work with sort of so all my projects have been destroyed. On the upside one of my other projects should be out of the kiln next week so I'm looking forward to that. I will probably end up staying after school one day next week to try and catch up then I will be good.

This week I worked on making my lidded project that is the next thing due for the 2 trimester. I had a lot of trouble with trying to figure out the interest page this week. I hadn't realized that everything I had added since February was still in the drafts category so they were not posting. I tried fixing it and hopefully Ms.heidman will understand that I have terrible technical skills. This was also the case with my gallery. So many things went wrong with my website this week so I have been very stressed about the whole thing. I'm hoping my grade can get back up to an A by the time Ms.Heidman has to enter the grades. Anyways I was excited to see my extra credit set of three come out of the kiln. Overall this was a very overwhelming week and I think making projects helped with some of that extra stress.

This week is the last week before spring break! I'm am really excited to get my goblet and wheel altered projects out of the glass kiln because I think they turned out really good. I worked very hard on my set of three even though they all turned out very different from eachother, Ms.heidman said they were acceptable since I had spent so much extra time on them:). I'm glad I had the experience to work with different skills on these projects.

This week was a fun week. I made a couple of extra credit projects and I am waiting for them to come out of the kiln which will probably be next week. My birthday was on Friday so I was a little distracted on Friday but it was a good day and I took home about 4 projects that I excited to show off. Overall the week was very successful.

This week almost all my concentration was on my set of three. I have been having a very difficult time creating the stands for the bowl plate and cup but slowly they are coming along. Mrs.H was kind enough to help me on my cup but it is still a slow process. My plate will probably be out by next week and we will see how it turned out even though the bow had fallen off. I'm hoping everything comes out pretty good.

This week has been a really short week because of all the tests that have been going on but my first plate did come out of the kiln and I believe it turned out really well. I am currently working on my second project in my set of three and i hope to get it glazed and done by next week.
