• This is the wheel tall project that is 10''x3''. It has narrow top that gradually widens as it gets closer to the base. The entire project is glazed in a light blue color but the top rim is glazed with a black color that drips down towards the base. The skill that I used when making this project was choking the project after pulling the sides up creating a taller project. An art element that is present in this project is lines which are shown with the drips going down the sides.

This is a wheel cylinder that is 5''x 3''. The entire body is engraved in a constant spiral. Everything was glazed in a light yellow color but there are black drips going downwards towards the base. The skill that I used when making this was keeping my walls straight and not flaring them out. An art element that is present in this project is color with the dark black contrasting with the light yellow.

outThis is soup bowl 2. It is 2 1/2" x 4". This texture is smooth and on the side is an Argyle pattern in red stain and clear put on the top. This skill that I learned is how to pull up while keeping the walls even. The art element being expressed is that there are two distinct colors that accent the piece.

UThis is soup bowl 1. It is 2 1/2" x 4". The texture of the bowl is smooth. The color that it is glazed is cobalt blue. The skill that I learned while making this bowl is finding techniques that make the walls even while pulling up. An art element that happened in this piece is that the glaze was too thick at the top and so it layered on the lighter area of the glaze. The solid blue give the bowl a simplistic appearance.
